Position Overview:
The RSM is responsible for managing and expanding the dealer network, increasing sales, building relationships with dealers and customers, and representing Autoquip in a professional manner. This role is essential in growing market share and achieving sales goals within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Learn Autoquip’s product offerings and provide appropriate solutions for diverse customer applications.
- Territory Management: Identify, evaluate, support, and educate dealers, salespeople, and customers in the territory to drive sales growth.
- Customer Support: Resolve customer issues effectively, maintaining strong relationships.
- Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed sales quotas.
- Inter-Company Communication: Share customer and industry feedback with relevant internal teams.
- Representation: Professionally represent Autoquip to customers and partners.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
- Sales Experience: Proven background in industrial sales with a focus on building dealer networks.
- Organization: Ability to manage territory, schedules, quotes, and customer needs effectively.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents; experience with engineering and industrial settings is required.
- Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel extensively, primarily during weekdays.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Business or Engineering degree, or equivalent sales engineering experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
- Experience: 3 years of engineered industrial sales experience, preferably in material handling.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary, commission, bonus opportunity, company car, and benefits package.
Territory:
Vermont, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Quebec, Newfoundland, Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick (subject to change).
