Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Life Enrichment Manager to enhance the quality of life for our residents in an assisted living and memory care environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement life enrichment programs tailored to the needs and interests of residents in assisted living and memory care.
- Coordinate recreational activities that promote social engagement and cognitive stimulation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure that all activities are aligned with residents' care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to encourage participation in activities.
- Manage schedules for daily activities, ensuring a variety of options are available for residents.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments based on resident feedback.
- Provide support for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized programming.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and progress in enrichment activities.
Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of recreational therapy practices and dementia care strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to manage schedules effectively while being adaptable to changing needs.
