Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Engage clients in social activities to encourage socialization and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Assist with mobility needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or community activities.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a caregiving environment.
- Familiarity with home community care systems and resources available for client support.
