What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at AV, MD?
Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner for a solo Family Practice to start in the last week of March . We have offices in Silver Spring and Howard County, MD. While we are looking to staff primarily the Silver Spring office, ability to work at both offices will be desirable. You will be working with a single physician. At least 2 years of experience in a Family Practice/Internal Medicine is desirable. The duties will be as follows:
- · Efficiently perform H&P, provide diagnosis, and formulate treatment plan. We treat adult patients only.
- · Ability to manage patients independently.
- · Complete charting in the Electronic Medical Record in a timely fashion. We use eClinicalworks for our EMR.
- · Communicate effectively with the patients and their families. In a solo practice, developing rapport with the patients is extremely important.
- · Order appropriate tests and labs. Follow up the results and communicate with the patients.
- · Work collaboratively with the MD and MAs.
We offer $55-65/hour depending on prior experience.
