We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Customer Care and Sales Representative to join our team. You do not have to be licensed. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. As a CCR you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and businesses secure their financial future through tailored insurance solutions.
This candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while selling various insurance products. Assessing a client's needs is key as that is the best way to get them an insurance plan that meets their budget and lifestyle.
We provide training and knowledge of guidelines, computer systems, and tools, specific insurance products we represent, and the enrollment process.
A day in this role...
- Assist individuals in navigating health insurance options, providing expertise on ACA-compliant plans, and facilitating enrollment to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- You will create effective sales presentations of available products that we offer.
- You will be in contact with customers interested in discussing their health insurance options and guiding them to make the right decision based on their needs and budget.
- You will be the subject matter expert in our policies and be able to simplify the process for customers to understand.
- You will be the first point of contact to close deals, collecting confidential personal information to transfer an e-application to our verification department for submission, recording and approval.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software
- Proven experience in insurance sales
- Minimum of 3-4 years previous experience in health insurance sales.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of the market and industry trends related to health insurance sales
- Familiarity with AgencyBloc or other CRM software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A collaborative spirit and willingness to work with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial for maintaining client confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the insurance products offered.
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, social events and telemarketing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide clear explanations and guidance on the Healthcare market and its various provisions to help clients make informed decisions about their coverage.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, benefits, and coverage options. Provide ongoing customer service support to existing clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
- Process policy renewals and handle policy changes
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Determine clients; eligibility for plans based on income, family size, and other relevant factors.
- Respond to inbound calls from potential clients interested in health insurance plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Commission-Based Pay: $40,000 base salary plus commission
Commissions earned per year between $50 - $100K per year, depending on sales performance.
