Join Our Team as an Audio-Visual Sales Executive
Are you a passionate and results-driven sales professional with a flair for the audio/visual industry? Were a rapidly growing NYC-based audio-visual equipment rental and event staging company looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Sales Specialist to help drive our success and deliver exceptional AV solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Field incoming inquiries and create customized AV proposals that align with client needs and company standards.
- Negotiate budgets with clients to secure business while maintaining high-quality production standards.
- Drive revenue growth by maximizing sales and securing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and expand our customer base across various industries.
- Ensure seamless event execution by specifying the right equipment and managing logistics.
- Conduct on-site surveys to deliver tailored AV solutions.
- Manage crew scheduling and operations.
- Oversee budgets, including sub-rentals and labor, to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
- Develop a pipeline of on-call talent to supplement the team as needed.
- Reconcile job costs and prepare projects for billing.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business leads to support company growth.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in AV sales and project management, with expertise in luxury hospitality, corporate events, conventions, trade shows, concerts, exhibitions, and festivals.
- Proven business development success with established industry contacts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of AV equipment (lighting, sound, projection) and production processes.
- Basic proficiency with computers and relevant software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact effectively with clients.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proven ability to network.
- Adaptable and proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Leadership experience and the ability to adjust schedules as needed.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
