AVA Energy are exclusively partnered with an established utility looking for an experienced Transmission & Interconnection Engineer. This role will be hybrid onsite in Austin, TX and they can potentially provide relocation support :

Requirements :

  • 3 years of hands on experience across Transmission Planning, Power Flow Analysis, and Interconnection doing stability and steady state studies.
  • Expertise using power flow software such as PSS / E, TARA, PSLF, etc.
  • Understanding of the Unites States Power Market landscape.
  • Previous experience with interconnection queues, project management, and knowledge of storage systems is a plus.
  • Education (preferably Master's) in Electrical Engineering and PE License.
