What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Tester position at Avacend Inc?
Role requires the Senior SQE to be responsible for testing for multiple scrum teams and participate in end-to-end testing efforts with interfacing scrum teams. The teams operate within SAFe Agile Release Train. The tester will be onsite at least twice a week.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts quality assessment (QA) design and development processes.
- Active participation in all Agile ceremonies
- Requirements review and analysis.
- Defect analysis, management, and reporting.
- Collaborates with QA, applications, business analysts, and user teams.
- Develops test solutions.
- Provides expertise in testing across the QA organization.
- Develops and implements new practices and testing standards.
- Contribute to project design.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in testing practices, testing levels, test plans, test scripts, and test data creation.
- Knowledge of Safe Agile Framework
- Experience in testing API using POSTMAN, Rest Assured, JSON, and REST API
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in performance testing using JMETER/K6
- Knowledge of .Net, Java and JSON
- Experience in building and maintaining API Automation: Ready API, Postman, SOAP UI, Rest API Assured
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
- Quality Assurance certifications are a plus.
