The job:
The Performance Manager will be a hard worker, natural leader and a true professional. A critical position in the performance training department at Parabolic. This person must have training experience and knowledge with a proven history of producing high quality training outcomes with a wide variety of clients of varying ages, training history, and goals. This person will be a natural leader and have experience leading a team of coaches that operate as one cohesive, goal driven unit. This person will thrive in a fast paced ever changing environment.
You will:
- Oversee all training related services
- Maintain an impeccable level of client satisfaction and client retention
- Train new staff members and provide continuing education to current Performance Coaches
- Assist with the hiring of new Performance Coaches
- Create and manage training staff schedules to appropriately staff all training sessions
- Work in coordination with support staff to handle new training inquiries, and ease client transitions from Physical Therapy
- Have a presence at Marketing Opportunities that are coordinated by our marketing team
- Facilitate open and regular communication with front desk, physical therapy department and management.
- Maintain an immaculate level of cleanliness within the facility
Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or in a related field, Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform under pressure
- 2-3 years training experience required, 3-5 years experience with management background preferred
- Experience managing a strength and conditioning staff, and a history of teaching and developing entry level coaches
- Strong leadership experience and presence
- Extensive knowledge in functional anatomy, biomechanics, and energy systems
- Experience with and/or working knowledge of sports medicine and/or physical therapy is desired
- Possesses or actively pursuing CSCS- NSCA
- First Aide, AED, & CPR Certifications
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
