Job Summary
As a 2nd Shift Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a vital role in our production team, focusing on operating and maintaining copper punch and bend machines. This hands-on position involves measuring, cutting, bending, and punching copper to precise specifications. You’ll work Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 2:30 AM – so you’ll have Fridays off for a long weekend every week!

- Ability to train on first shift.
- Experience in copper fabrication or similar manufacturing roles, required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while staying motivated to stay on task and work efficiently.
- Forklift and crane certification eligibility.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Operate copper punch and bend machines, adjusting settings for accuracy.
- Measure, cut, bend, and punch copper according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep machines in top working condition.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Train and guide helpers when needed to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.
