What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading the hospital's case management, utilization review, and discharge planning functions
- Managing staff, processes, and performance improvement initiatives within case management
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
- Facilitating safe and timely patient discharges and transitions of care
- Overseeing cost/quality management programs and resource utilization
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program required
- Diploma in Nursing with 2-3 years of management experience accepted
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Case Management, including utilization review, discharge planning, or cost/quality management programs
- Previous management experience (2-3 years preferred)
- At least 2 years of hospital-based nursing experience required
- Active RN license required in the state of Iowa or a multistate RN license allowing practice in IA
- Salary Range: $93,000 - $126,000 per year (based on experience)
