Job Summary
We are excited to offer a compelling opportunity for a Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will oversee and direct the progress of a complex software development project, ensuring it is completed in a timely, controlled, and predictable manner. As a key figure in the organization, you will be tasked with overseeing the entire process of delivering complex software solutions, primarily through agile development. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be crucial as you identify and engage with project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are well-informed throughout the project.
However, this role extends beyond project delivery. As the Scrum Master, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the principles of scrum are fully understood and implemented. Working closely with the CTO and other leaders, you will coach the development team to self-organize and produce high-value products, while also removing any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between stakeholders, technology teams, and end-users, ensuring that all efforts are in line with business goals.
- Lead Agile meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues through both verbal and written channels, offering recommendations to leadership.
- Guarantee adherence to relevant healthcare regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Organize project team members and establish schedules and duties for assigned projects.
Education
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related engineering discipline.
Work Experience
- Demonstrated experience of over 2 years in cross-functional project management/scrum mastering.
- Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal communication, adept at conveying ideas in technical and user-friendly language.
- Ability to articulate clear, specific, and measurable expectations for project deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative stakeholder management, and creativity.
- Expertise in organization, time management, task scheduling, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with product backlogs and contributing to product strategy is advantageous.
- Skilled in planning meetings, ensuring the right attendees and agendas for efficient use of time.
- Preferred certifications include Scaled Agile, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Project Manager/Scrum Master (PM/SM).
- Experience with Jira is beneficial.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
