Now Hiring: Full-time and Part-time Direct Care Associates
Avalon Hills is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Associates. We have a couple openings for a variety of shifts, including:
- Mornings: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Swings: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Nights: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Weekends
As a Direct Care Associate, you'll play an essential role in supporting our clients' recovery from eating disorders. You'll spend time engaging in activities like skiing, swimming, hiking, yoga, self-defense, dance, movies, and more — all while enjoying free meals during your shifts.
You'll also work closely with our professional team, acting as the eyes and ears to help ensure clients receive the highest quality of care at our residential treatment facilities for females, located just 15 minutes from downtown Logan.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interact with patients while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Participate in meals with staff and patients (must be able to eat the food provided).
- Observe and monitor patient behaviors, identifying symptomatic actions.
- Accurately record observations and report patient behavior to supervisors.
- Complete written logs and documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information, following HIPAA guidelines.
- Support supervisors in adhering to scheduled routines and activities.
- Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate patient-to-staff ratios.
- Observe the environment for potential triggers or hazards and report them to the supervisor.
- Ensure a safe environment by identifying and controlling potential hazards to patient safety.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Capable of working in emotionally challenging environments.
Shifts Available:
- Morning: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Evening: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Night: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Preferred Skills:
- Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
- Previous experience in a residential treatment setting is preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
