What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor position at Avalon Services Group?
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a General Laborers in a warehouse setting.
What will you do in this role?
- Sanitize work areas
- Ensure the maintenance of the warehouse areas, parking lot, and offices.
- Ensure cleaning is performed beneath the storage units.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks on time
- Sweep and mop warehouse floors
- Follow safety guidelines
- Refiling eater stations
- Turn off trash in the compactor
- Keep up with housekeeping inventory
- Manage waste, including keeping garbage containers clean and organized
- Perform other duties as needed
What do you need to Qualify?
- Flexibility in work shifts and schedules
- Work effectively with a team.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
- Work independently as needed.
What Physical Activities will you do?
- Constant (100%) standing and walking during workday.
- Frequent (70%) pushing, pulling, grasping, stretching, bending, twisting, reaching over head.
- Occasional (30%) stooping, climbing, and squeezing.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull more than 50 lbs.
