Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our residents.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly check each resident to ensure their personal care needs are being met in accordance with their preferences.
- Review patient care plans daily to determine if changes have been made to the resident's care routine.
- Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition.
- Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, promoting patience, enthusiasm, and calmness.
- Maintain residents' rooms in readiness for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
- Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10th-grade education or above.
- Active CNA certification in Oregon.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- A passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
- Fluent English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
