Job Title: Analyst - Accounts Payable
In office Location: Portland, ME or Orange, CT
Reports to: Manager, Accounts Payable
The hourly range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $26.98 - $33.72/hr
Job Summary
The Analyst - Accounts Payable performs accounts payable processes and activities with direction and supervision. Analyst - Accounts Payable performs transactional activity in the scope of Accounts Payable which may include support of payment processing, vendor maintenance, researching and resolving invoice discrepancies or issues, processing vendor invoices and supporting the Accounts Payable staff. Analyst - Accounts Payable is responsible for invoice booking and acceptance of invoices for all Avangrid companies using Opentext VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) in the AVANGRID SAP platform in a volume driven environment. Analyst - Accounts Payable processes invoices in electronic workflow returned from internal business representatives which require additional actions before being posted for payment.

Key Responsibilities
- Meets deadlines and targets in the accounts payable area adhering to established accounting policies of the organization.
- Processing transactional activity which requires self-review and verification with a high level of accuracy and volume.
- Follows and adheres to the Administration Model in compliance generally accepted business practices.
- Provides support to both internal and external customers.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration and at least 3 years of related experience. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP systems desired.
- Knowledge of procure to pay processes desired.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently, quickly and accurately
- Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency skills required
- Able to work in a cross functional environment
