- Purpose of the position:
- Provide support in the allocation of resources, tasks and/or follow-up to process, product, compliance and follow-up problems of the department. This position supervises and directs the day-to-day activities labor on assignment at Corning.
- List of activities and tasks of the position:
- Daily attendance review of the people assigned to there lines, so they can accommodate personnel based on Experience to be the most productive as possible.
- Production Order Follow Up based on the Shop Order.
- Request Maintenance support for Equipment Downtime
- Communicate with employers about issues (submit occurrence tickets)
- Resolve issues on the line
- Ensure people are following policies
- Ensure people are using PPE.
- Communicate, escalate any issue to Shift Production Supervisor.
- Training of new Operators.
- Internal and external customers:
- Internal.
- Assigned working group.
- Direct supervisor.
- External.
- Support areas.
- Manufacturing areas.
- Minimum knowledge and skills required:
- Education:
- High school completed or truncated.
- Additional Abilities:
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of computer equipment.
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of Microsoft software.
- Extraordinary activities.
- Collaborate and participate in: internal and external audits in their department, as well as support the results of these. Some examples of audits: ISO, TL, 5's, Safety, among others.
- Participate in the training or certifications that the company or position requires.
