Coat Check Lead is responsible for providing excellent customer service, safe keeping of guest items, and ensuring coat check operations run smoothly.
ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide coat/bag check needs through excellent customer service
- Setup and stock Coat Check area with hangers, tickets, registers, racks, and any other necessary tools for the smooth running of Coat Check service
- Organize items with care, providing customers with appropriate ticket
- Retrieve items in timely fashion
- Ensure the work area is clean at all times
- Track items left behind, properly labeling and returning them to management
- Ensure all checked items are in the correct order
- Ensures Coat Check staff takes appropriate breaks
- Assists Coat Check Manager with scheduling needs
- Communicates any issues, repairs, and needs to the Manager
- Be a liaison between the team and management
- Related experience in a customer service setting
- Previous Coat Check experience is a plus
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds
- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
- Hourly rate for this role is $20.50
