Essential Functions of the Job
- Lead the training and mentorship of new team members under the guidance of the Billing Supervisor, while providing ongoing support to colleagues as needed.
• Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Supervisor to resolve escalated issues, offering practical solutions to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
• Take charge as the lead import developer, collaborating with internal teams to manage data and create user interfaces for client timecard import files.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client CSV and Excel timecard data files.
• Perform in-depth analyses and oversee the reconciliation of time and financial data, ensuring smooth integration with internal systems.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from various teams to develop actionable recommendations that drive scalable business solutions and streamline processes in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Generate and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as state gross reporting, accounts receivable, and billing metrics.
• Assist the Revenue Cycle Supervisor with month-end accounting tasks, including reconciling invoice totals, reviewing charges, resolving discrepancies, and analyzing other critical monthly reports.
• Analyze and optimize workflows within the Revenue Cycle Management and HRIS timekeeping systems, providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Partner with the Systems Support team to address HRIS application errors and data issues, ensuring seamless functionality for end users.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal processes as required.
• Track and report progress on projects and tasks to the Billing Supervisor and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of any challenges or delays.
• Represent Avant professionally by delivering exceptional, timely customer service to clients, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries, and participating in virtual meetings with the camera on.

Normal Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Associate’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in business office operations, RCM systems, and/or payroll required
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI)
- Experience with HRIS timekeeping configurations required
- Experience working with complex process workflows, databases, and vendor management preferred
- Knowledge of security administration with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Knowledge of business process redesign principles and project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask multiple priorities simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, PowerBI and electronic database management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to conduct advanced level functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Dashboards)
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain
