AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a Human Resources Assistant (HRA) who supports the AG client on site at the United States Capitol Police (USCP), Office of Human Resources (OHR) by providing broad-based administrative and technical assistance to a federal HR team (HR Director and Commander at the Credentialing and Background Investigations Division) including, but not limited to, supporting all staffing and recruitment functions.
AG offers a comprehensive benefit package including a monthly commuter benefit as well as immediate medical enrollment and a generous 401k. This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. The work schedule is five days per week onsite in Washington, DC
The WORK
- Support USCP by providing administrative support for the Sworn Recruitment initiative.
- Coordinate and monitor a variety of administrative projects, i.e., budget, personnel, travel, space, and logistics.
- Monitor a travel budget for recruiting and provide budget data to senior specialists.
- Input, edit, and update HR information in automated systems, i.e., Talent Management System (TMS) and POBITS.
- Review and submit travel authorization requests and travel vouchers for approvals through Momentum.
- Finalize, route, and track correspondences for review and approval using OHR-SharePoint electric tracking system.
- Analyze administrative data from a variety of sources to develop trends, patterns, profiles, proposals, and studies.
- Manage recruitment e-mail, voicemails, and phone calls.
- Manage Invitations and RSVP’s for Sworn Hiring Assessment Centers.
- Assist with administrative duties to prepare for Sworn Hiring Assessment Centers.
- Manage tracking systems for all recruitment activities.
- Provide administrative support during Sworn Hiring Assessment Centers.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Division Commander
