Manager/Supervisor

Supervising Front of House Includes: Dining Room, Carry Out, Delivery, Catering & Banquet Room

Supervising Back of House includes: Line Cook, Pizza Cook, Baker’s & Prep Cook

Licensing/Registration/Certification

Required: Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certification
Valid Illinois Driver’s License with no major moving violations in the past three years.  

Experience  

Required: At least five (5) years experience in the restaurant retail business dealing with customers and associates on a daily basis. Areas of experience must include supervision of restaurant workers.  

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities  

All items listed should be taken to read that the individual already has these skills, or has the ability to rapidly acquire them.  

*Extensive knowledge of retail restaurant business to include Full Service Dine In Operations, Carry Out Operations, Delivery, Catering and Kitchen Operations.  

*Ability to work closely with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, customers, vendors, suppliers and other outside professionals with whom the company deals with on a regular basis.  

*Ability to formulate and articulate clear expectations, holding associates accountable for meeting or exceeding those expectations.  

*Sound organizational and communication skills, including good listening habits and problem solving skills.  

*Ability to pay attention to detail.  

*Facilitate cash handling and retail record keeping.  

*Ability to motivate others, project commitment and integrity.  

*Ability to be proactive. and have contingency plans for staff shortages, inventory shortages and unexpected situations.  

*Ability to work independently and with little or no direct supervision.
