We are seeking a skilled and energetic self-starter to become a key member of our Tax Research & Planning Team. Reporting directly to our Senior Director of Tax Research & Planning, this role offers the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of projects supporting the development, implementation and documentation of domestic and international tax planning strategies. The ideal candidate will have familiarity and hands-on experience with post-TCJA and / or post-IRA planning techniques and related supporting research and computations, as well as the ability to educate and mentor more junior team members on the relevant tax technical issues necessary to execute.
Responsible for supporting the development, evaluation and implementation of tax planning projects. Research, quantify, and document Avantor's current tax technical positions. Project manage day-to-day execution of planning projects.
This position will be a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in Radnor, PA (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
What we're looking for
- Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or a tax-related field, ideally accompanied by an advanced degree
CPA or equivalent certification required
Advanced understanding of US and international tax concepts, knowledge of foreign jurisdiction tax rules a plus
