Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Global Supply Chain to join our team at Avantor. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing global supply chains in a complex, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and overseeing all aspects of the supply chain. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs, while maintaining high levels of customer service and quality.

Responsibilities:

2. Lead and mentor a diverse team of supply chain professionals to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
4. Responsibility includes identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs while maintaining high levels of customer service and quality.
5. Sourcing Strategies development and implementation to optimize supplier relationships and ensure supply chain resilience.
6. Assess potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
