Inventory Coordinator

The Opportunity :

In this role, you will report to the Area Operations Manager and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location : Boulder, CO

Shift : Mon-Fri 7 : 30am-3 : 30pm

Hourly Rate : $24.00 - $26.00 (plus mileage reimbursement)

The candidate must have dependable transportation and be available to travel to a different location twice a week.

What we're looking for

Education : High school diploma or GED is required

Experience : Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience is required

Collaboration Tool : Microsoft Teams experience preferred

Ordering and Replenishment

Stockroom Inventory Management

Digital literacy, includingMicrosoft Office,with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Solid understanding and experience in eithershipping, inventory, orpurchasing.

Excellent Customer Service Skills : displays a professional can-do attitude

Must be able to lift 50Lbs.

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will :

Oversee the daily operations of the Vendor Managed Inventory service, working closely with customer team members to provide site support, address program needs, and facilitate orders for consumable inventory.

Utilize Ariba and Inventory Manager software to monitor, track, and optimize inventory processes, ensuring the smooth execution of the program.

Collaborate with key team members to manage slow-moving or dead stock, remove obsolete materials, and introduce new items to the program as needed.

Conduct expiry checks and notify the customer of approaching expiration dates, providing recommendations for replacement.

Ensure the timely delivery of incoming stockroom packages to the designated stockroom area.

Travel twice a week to Frederick and Boulder facilities to carry out inventory management responsibilities and ensure consistency across locations.

Use Inventory Manager software and technology to place daily orders and replenish materials, maintaining product levels at the agreed-upon "par" levels to reduce the risk of stockouts.

Pay Transparency :

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

47,000.00 - $77,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
