Description:
Unit Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, and Crew Leader’s and be responsible for training, production process, quality inspection, work progress, and safety. This role will be instrumental in helping to train new crew members in our production construction (ProCon) environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support Production Supervisors and Plant Manager by, coaching, coordinating, and leading crew members in work process and activities in a production environment
- Assign daily production plan to Crew Leads. based on material or worker abilities of specific tasks
- Coordinate work activities across the campus.
- Evaluate projects to determine compliance with technical specifications
- Confirm that equipment or tools to be used in construction and monitor and ensure proper safety protocols are in place and being followed
- Provide Plant Manager and Production Supervisors with regular updates in regard to crew member attendance, performance, and crew production construction KPI’s
- Responsible for in crew member and Lead recruitment and interview process by engaging with candidates on the production floor
- Support new crew member onboarding, on the job training, by ensuring all production construction methods are demonstrated successfully
- Responsible for daily balancing time and attendance for assigned work group
- Responsible for issuing materials and releasing work orders to production floor
- Other duties as assigned
