Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations in a busy medical office. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Review and maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Utilize eCW software for patient management and data entry.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Previous exprience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with documentation review processes and coding practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly eCW, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
