Position Summary :
Our client is seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager (GM) with over 12 years of proven sales experience in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for inventory management, a deep understanding of used car valuation, and a balanced approach that integrates traditional and modern sales strategies. Experience with both new and used car operations is essential, and exposure to brands such as Nissan, Infiniti, Volkswagen, Honda, Acura, Kia, and Hyundai are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inventory Management : Oversee and manage dealership inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and selection to meet customer demand.
- Sales Leadership : Drive sales performance through effective team leadership, motivation, and development, ensuring alignment with the dealership's one-price model.
- Customer Satisfaction : Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring a transparent and respectful sales process, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Financial Oversight : Manage dealership financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving net profit targets.
- Vendor Relations : Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and other partners to ensure smooth operations and access to quality inventory.
- Performance Management : Drives overall store performance by setting and aligning key performance objectives for leaders and employees. Provides ongoing coaching, development, and accountability to ensure sustained success and growth.
