We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of our human resources operations. This position requires a strong background in HR practices, payroll processing, and accounting principles, making it essential for the successful administration of employee benefits and payroll.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Restaurant experience with tip pooling laws.
- Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy within HR-related accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable functions related to HR expenditures.
- Support tax-related processes and compliance in coordination with the accounting department.
- Utilize Quickbooks and other accounting software for effective data management and reporting.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards.
- Provide support for recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee training initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and benefits administration processes.
- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles is essential.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks desktop or similar HR software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
