Job Description
The Bilingual Navigator (fluent in English ad Spanish) provides case management and support services to clients eligible for assistance through the McKinney-Vento Program and crisis intervention services to clients referred. The Navigator arranges and provides services that promote healthy functioning and assist clients in developing independent, sustainable and responsible lifestyles. The Navigator, coalition partners and the AOL behavior therapists, forms an interdisciplinary team that sdevelops treatment goals and plans. The Navigator monitors client progress and ensures the appropriate services comply with policies and agency requirements. The Bilingual Navigator is indispensable in serving the Spanish speaking community.
Essential Duties
The Navigator shall exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.
Provide holistic and comprehensive case management services to Impact KCK or KCPS Empowerment clients, including intake assessment (Arizona Self-Sufficiency Matrix), benefits assessment, goal setting, long-term case plan development, progress monitoring, individual money management education, tenant housing education, employment education, advocacy, andreferrals, and reporting and compliance.
Implement case management best practices.
Provide intensive strenghts-based case management services
Update client files daily to record continuity of care and maintain complete confidentiality of all client records.
Oversee and teach program classes as assigned.
Complete date entry into online systems (CCL, MAACLINK,SureImpact, etc) and remain compliant with grants and data tracking goals.
Maintain criteria and reporting requirements on grants specific to housing and utilities.
Participate in community events, welcome guests to the agency, assist with Happy Bottoms distribution, and assist with childcare as needed for program participants.
Provide emergency assistance to program participants.
Coordinate with coalition partners in developing plans in supporting clients.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
