The AvePoint Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic growth opportunities and the continued development of AvePoint’s corporate strategy. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with key executives and internal cross-functional stakeholders to assess, develop and execute on strategies to help direct AvePoint’s growth.

The AvePoint Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic growth opportunities and the continued development of AvePoint’s corporate strategy. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with key executives and internal cross-functional stakeholders to assess, develop and execute on strategies to help direct AvePoint’s growth.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Support the full lifecycle of acquisitions, including new transaction origination and deal execution including due diligence, financial modeling and negotiations
- Identify new, innovative technology trends and markets, and recommend high-potential acquisitions and investments
- Perform analysis to help assess the valuation and potential execution path forward on transactions
- Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, finance and legal functions
- Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in taking on financial planning & analysis responsibilities over time
- Support the assessment and prioritization of corporate strategic initiatives
- 2 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development or financial diligence/accounting roles, ideally in the technology industry
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical skills (including financial modelling), fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses
- Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization
- Demonstrated understanding of technology with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps
- Experience in SaaS financial modelling
- Software industry experience
