Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct, personal care and services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to meet the physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers, toileting, serving food trays, encouraging feeding, and answering call lights.
- Perform routine duties and non-routine tasks as directed by nursing staff, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and weight checks.
- Document concise and factual information on patient charts.
- Participate in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families.
- Comply with all aspects of resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensure within 120 days of hire.
- High School or GED Equivalent.
- Less than 1 year related experience or training preferred.
