ABrief Overview

Responsible for allaspects of the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This willinclude areas such as nursing, business office, and medical staffrelations.

What you willdo

  • Manages,supervises, and coordinates day-to-day operations of the clinic toinclude but not be limited to financial management, maintenance ofthe operating budget, expense management, staffing, and servicesoffered by the clinic. Duties are performed in such a manner as toensure the clinic operates in an efficient, cost-effectivemanner.
  • Collects data, prepares reports,analyzes statistics, and answers correspondence. Identifies andreviews operational problems and resolves the issue or brings tothe attention of leadership.
  • Assists leadershipwith the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of budgets andbusiness plans. Recommends clinic facility improvements includingconstruction, renovation, and purchase ofequipment.
  • Ensures that the clinic operates insupport of the mission, values and philosophies of theorganization.
  • Ensures clinic compliance withall regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and therules of accrediting bodies. Initiates changes asappropriate.
  • Ensures that open, professionalcommunication is maintained with providers on a daily basis.Involves provider on issues that affect the clinic asappropriate.
  • Coordinates with leadership onmonitoring medical activities to ensure cost-effective and highquality care for patients. Ensures proper credentialing andlicensure are maintained.
  • Administers staffingplan that will allow the clinic / department to operate in anefficient, cost-effective manner.
  • Resolves anymedical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communicationopen with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professionalclinic atmosphere.
  • Maintains professionalaffiliations and enhances professional development to keep currentin the latest healthcare trends and developments. Attends suchmeetings as may be necessary to maintain operational knowledge ofthe organization.
  • Responsibilities includeinterviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retainingemployees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraisingperformance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressingcomplaints and resolvingproblems.

RequiredEducation, License / Certification, or WorkExperience :

  • Bachelor'sor related experience and / or training or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience
