Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH#s patient-focused setting. SUMMARY: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide out of hospital care per established protocols, under the direction of the medical director, appropriate to the age of each patient.# Provides a wide range of patient treatment and care based on patient needs.# Assists patient care and clinical service departments as priorities allow. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required.# Graduate of accredited EMT course and successful passing of the National Registry or Iowa EMT test.# One year experience as an EMT is preferred. CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE: National or Iowa EMT Registry certification required.# Must be current in or attend the first available class to obtain certifications BLS for the healthcare provider, PHTLS Provider and Hazardous Response at Operations Level.# Current certification in Child/Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting or willingness to complete within 6 months of hire.
