Detailed Job Description
Provides care and treatment to patients on maintenance dialysis: Dialysis treatment is provided within the scope of nursing practice.
Understands and ensures compliance related to water room equipment operation and function: Complies with established departmental policies and procedures, scope of care, performance improvement activities, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Promotes and maintains documentation and an environment that is in compliance with state, federal, and regulatory agencies: Coordinates care of patients in collaboration with Medical Director, Nephrologist, patients, families, other nursing staff and all ancillary departments.
