Job Responsibilities

• Performs Testing and Analysis: Utilizes established protocols to perform routine clinical laboratory tests with a high degree of accuracy in all departments of the laboratory.
• Calibration and Maintenance: Performs calibration, quality control checks, and preventative maintenance steps on assigned instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
• Data Review and Reporting: Reviews, researches, interprets, and reports data accurately, assuming responsibility for distinguishing between normal and abnormal clinical parameters.

Additionally, you will be responsible for properly identifying patients before specimen collection, explaining the collection procedure, and providing necessary preparation and collection instructions. You will also collect, receive, and transport blood and other specimens from clinic patients following accepted standards of practice.
