Avera Health LPN Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Avera Health. This role requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to residents, including assessments, evaluations, and interventions as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Administers medications safely and accurately according to facility policy and physician's orders.
• Participates in care planning and ensures quality care is provided to residents.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintains accurate records and reports incidents or concerns to supervisors.
• Fosters a positive work environment and promotes a culture of safety and respect.

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Less than 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
