About the Job
This position is responsible for performing a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical laboratory science and be able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests, using theoretical knowledge and independent judgment in addition to established protocols, techniques, and equipment manuals.
- Distinguish between normal and abnormal clinical laboratory parameters and take corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate laboratory data and pertinent technical information to relevant departments and individuals in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- MLS certification from American Medical Technologists (AMT) or ASCP within one year of employment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
