Occupational Therapist Position at Avera Health
Avera Health is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional ability.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, day shift hours. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs to develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Implement therapy strategies to promote patient independence and functional ability.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of South Dakota.
- CPR certification or completion upon next available program.
