Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility, meeting their physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs on a daily basis.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Perform routine duties and non-routine tasks as directed by nursing staff, including assisting patients with feeding, answering call lights, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Document concise and factual information on appropriate forms.
- Participate in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families.
- Comply with all aspects of resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of related experience or training.
- Commitment to Avera's mission, vision, core values, and social principles.
- Uphold Avera's standards of Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement (CARE).
- Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA.
