Job Summary
- Pharmacy Technician assists in drug preparation, storage, distribution and inventory management within a variety of pharmacy environments.
- Technician works under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Associates degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board-Certified required.
- Ability to become registered with SD Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire required.
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening Shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional weekend (Currently every 4th)
- Occasional holiday (Varies)
- No call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $18.50 – $25.75 per hour
