Avera is seeking a Housekeeper for our long-term care facility, Prince of Peace!

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment through the facility to include resident rooms, community areas, and office areas. Sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens to resident rooms. Adhere to washing instructions for label on clothing item. Maintains a clean/neat environment in work area. These areas may include, but not limited to: resident rooms, offices, nurse's station, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, laundry room, supply closets and community areas, resident closets, carpet stains, windows, etc.
Education and/or Experience
- Less than High School diploma or GED; one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Work Schedule
- M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
- 7:00am-3:30pm every 3rd weekend/holiday; 80-hours/2weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
