Job Title : SolidWorks Designer / Drafter
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks Designer / Drafter with at least 3 years of experience to support the design and development of sensors and robotic systems used in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with mechanical products, particularly in designing handheld-sized, fairly complex systems. This role will focus on generating high-quality technical drawings and 3D models for products primarily made from aluminum. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability of each design.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings of NDT sensors and robots using SolidWorks.
- Design components primarily made from aluminum, ensuring the designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine product specifications and address technical challenges.
- Prepare drawings for manufacturing, including tolerances, material specifications, and assembly instructions.
- Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback and optimize product performance.
- Maintain design documentation and version control, ensuring accurate records of product iterations.
