Job Summary
Multi-office bankruptcy firm is seeking a full-time legal assistant for its Meridian office with opportunities for advancement. The selected candidate will be very responsible, organized, detail-oriented, gifted in compassionately handling clients under high stress, and able to learn and effectively use firm-related software. Responsibilities of this position include answering phone calls and client questions, document gathering and review, building and filing cases, and communicating with clients, attorneys, and creditors. Must be a team player and not afraid to ask questions. Office experience a plus, but not required. Base wage DOE. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, generous sick and vacation leave, and a firm retirement plan.
