Director of Nursing (DON)

We are looking for an RN or LPN to join us as Director of nursing and lead our care team!

Full-time opportunity, earn $70,000 - $75,000 with the opportunity to bonus.

We are seeking an RN or LPN professional ready to direct operations and lead our high level of senior care. This role directs the operation of our care department focusing on individuals care, regulatory compliance, staff management, cost containment, and marketing Community program services.

You will :

• Direct the operation of the Community's Care department

• Hire and assign duties of licensed and non-licensed staff

• Evaluate individuals’ conditions and care needs to determine the level of assistance needed

• Evaluate resident records

• Provide teaching and training to staff

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse ( RN ) or Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) license to practice professional nursing in the residing state

• Obtains and maintains Nurse Delegation Certification in accordance with state requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory position (Geriatrics preferred)

• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations and drug test

• Ability to communicate effectively
