Job Summary:
Under close supervision, the Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas within the Company’s buildings and facilities, adhering to approved cleaning procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our team and visitors!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain an organized inventory of custodial supplies and restock as needed.
- Clean restrooms and other facility areas, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
- Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including cleaning of floors, tables, bathrooms, offices, and other areas as scheduled.
- Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers and polishers as required.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests as directed.
- Manage exterior maintenance, including trash collection, seating areas, parking lots, and sidewalks.
- Keep accurate logs and records of cleaning activities.
- Remove trash from outdoor receptacles and ensure proper disposal according to recycling guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet organizational goals and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Uphold the company’s Code of Conduct, business ethics, and compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of custodial experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, commercial office space, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with current company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Knowledge of custodial practices, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and floor finishing products.
- Ability to properly maintain and care for custodial tools and equipment.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, cGMPs, and SOPs relevant to the role.
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including hazard recognition and corrective actions.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in performing cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
- Experience in operating small hand tools and cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, vacuums, buffers, and other hand cleaning tools.
- Ability to work independently while following a set schedule of tasks and assignments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and others encountered during work
