Help Wanted: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant
We are a growing low-voltage & A/V contracting company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position where you’ll play a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration
- Prepare and file invoices for clients, ensuring timely payments
- Manage office administrative tasks, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
- Maintain project documentation and job files
- Assist with procurement and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or administrative assistant, preferably in a contracting or construction environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of tasks efficiently
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
