Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Lab Tech position in our Longview Hatchery. The goal of this role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the technical aspects of the hatchery vaccine laboratory quality system. This individual will perform all duties related to hatch day and vaccine lab. This position will report to the Hatchery Lab Supervisor.Job Description:

The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department. Normal duties will include:
- Determine the proper mixtures of vaccines to be administered to the proper customer at correct time
- Maintain and troubleshooting of machines; Coccivac and Embrex
- Must keep up with vaccine inventory and turn in weekly
- Perform viable cell checks
- Service Room: Hang medicine bags, move boxes from Novatech, and provide any other assistance throughout room.
- Take samples throughout servicing for Quality Assurance purposes
- Proper mixing and handling of vaccines in the laboratory
- Thorough cleaning of lab, vent hoods, and other equipment related to the daily process.
- Assist in paperwork from the work week
- Other Duties as assigned.
