Industrial Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Aviagen is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and install all equipment used within the facility in accordance with reactive and preventative maintenance requirements. A high degree of accuracy is required in order to maintain company standards of quality.

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment following Preventative Maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Perform various calibrations as needed
• Keep up with inventory of supplies and equipment related to maintenance
• Install new equipment as required
• Troubleshoot and repair broken machinery and equipment such as chains, pulleys, belts, fans, electric motors, pumps, etc. promptly or in an emergency.

Requirements:

• 2 – 5 years of experience in general maintenance
• Trade school courses in general maintenance desired
• Follow Biosecurity Requirements
• Capable of Lifting 50 lbs.
• Reliable
• Drug Free
• Follow Safety Requirements
• Training period of one to two months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week

Experience:

• Industrial maintenance: 2 years (Required)
• Millwright: 2 years (Required)
