Position Requirements:
Thorough working knowledge of industrial maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical AC/DC electrical circuitry, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical controls and forklift maintenance.
Demonstrated experience in leading and or directing teams with documented results.
Experience applying standards, regulations or codes in ESH programs
Education Requirements
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, agri-business or other programs with emphasis on construction and maintenance.
Required
Specific Experience:
Supervisory or lead experience in construction management or industrial maintenance.
Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs, and strong working knowledge of OSHA standards.
Capital Project Management experience in an agricultural or construction environment.

Job Description Summary
This role serves as the functional leader for construction and infrastructure maintenance for the higher generation business units of Aviagen Broiler Breeders and will lead all construction efforts and manage resources to ensure proper maintenance of building assets.
Business Partnership:
- Manages cost, scope and risk in one cohesive process. Maintains control and visibility over projects to ensure they are operational on time and within budget.
- Prepare Project Plans, including justification for major and minor construction projects.
- Plan, negotiate and implement schedules of work for all effected internal departments and external contractors.
- Maintain complete project files including drawings, proposals, contracts, work-in-progress reviews, inspections, and communications.
- Contribute to the preparation of each unit’s budgeting process.
- Partners with department and site leaders to solve any design/ construction issues.
- Ensure effective communication with internal customers and leadership, as well as external suppliers and vendors.
Construction Program Management:
- Cost Management: Manage budgets effectively. Including tracking the actual cost of projects against the budgeted cost, monitoring any cost overruns or savings, and analyzing the reasons behind any significant deviations.
- Project Delivery: Deliver projects on time and within scope. Including tracking project milestones and timelines, assessing the quality of the final deliverables, and analyzing the reasons behind any delays or failures.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure all facilities are maintained and functioning optimally. Monitor Key Performance Indicators and ensure alignment with the annual operating plan.
