About this Role:
- This Senior Manager Quality and Safety will lead efforts to ensure quality processes align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
- Evaluate existing policies and procedures to recommend improvements
- Develop effective relationships with regulatory agencies, suppliers, and partners to address quality concerns
- Leverage data analytics and other tools to optimize quality operations
- Collaborate with the Operations team to design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory requirements, offering guidance and support to team members
Responsibilities:
- Oversee development and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and develop plans to address these gaps
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in quality operations
- Implement and maintain records of quality certifications and compliance
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field (Aeronautics, Aviation Maintenance, Management, or Engineering)
- 7 years' experience in quality management, preferably in the aviation industry
- Certified Quality Professional (CQP) or similar certification
